Designing for Revenue-Growth
We completely re-designed the user experience of the course booking system on mobile and tablet devices. Using data and insights from their analytics, we designed wireframes and prototype layouts for every step of the course booking process, adapting them specifically for each device type and screen orientation.
We then re-wrote the site’s front end code, implementing ‘responsive’ design so that each part of the course search and booking system worked perfectly on all devices and all screen shapes.
NCT take over 70,000 online course bookings each year. They had identified a clear trend that traffic to their site from mobile and tablet devices was increasing, but the conversion rate of course bookings was actually decreasing. It was clear this was down to the awkward user interface for the course booking process on these devices.
When we rolled out the re-designed mobile and tablet interfaces, the decline in conversion rate on these devices was immediately reversed, rapidly returning the NCT’s investment in the project.
