The Challenge

Helping a global offline brand launch a serious digital commerce presence

The world-famous premium doughnut brand is a ubiquitous sight in the UK, with its chain of high street stores, cafes and kiosks - plus their popular doughnut cabinets in many Tesco stores.

Less well known is their ecommerce website. Krispy Kreme needed help raising awareness of their new digital channel and driving revenue from consumer and corporate customers online.

Working in close partnership with Krispy Kreme’s UK marketing team, we’ve helped turn their digital platform in to a significant revenue generating tool in its own right – and one which also supports offline sales in-store.

We launched a series of nationwide social media campaigns planned around occasions – like Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Christmas, as well as key product launches like the ‘Nutella’ doughnut.

Along with increasing awareness via social media, we manage Krispy Kreme’s Adwords and organic SEO campaigns – and work closely with their corporate
sales team supporting initiatives to supply doughnuts to company events, product launches and even weddings, helping transform Krispy Kreme from a solely offline business in to a truly successful omni-channel retailer.
